Yesterday my husband did all of the lawn cutting.
I love it when the orchard is newly mowed and looks like a park.
Walking through the orchard in the evening is a great time for assessing how the crops are coming along. It's been an early Spring this year, but of course it's impossible to predict what will happen.
I can't believe how far along the cherries are. Looks like an early crop this year.
The apricots already need to be thinned.
The birds were singing their hearts out to me - I felt like I was being personally serenaded!
This cardinal was singing a beautiful solo.
But I was especially glad to see our orioles are back!
Our garden is all worked-up and ready to plant. We've had such a
lovely Spring, it has been hard to wait until Victoria Day weekend
to plant. Next weekend: garden planting!
Oh Helen, just gorgeous. Wonderful :) :)
ReplyDeleteHello Ro, Thankyou for following me. I love your blog, it's a peaceful place to be. I loved your post on "Carrying Jesus." Thinking of your SIL, and also your desire for a little one. God is Good, I will ask Him about it :) (as I'm sure you do all the time.)
ReplyDeleteOh "Givinya" - you had me at your name! It caught my attention and gave me a chuckle and then I laughed all the way through your posts. You have a brilliant sense of humour! And thank you for your kind words and for your prayers. You are right, God is good. :)
